Gitanjali Ghate is the founding partner and Managing Director of Third Eye. She has a masters degree in Psychology.
Her academic background and natural proclivity to dive deep into the human mind, make her role at The Third Eye akin to an archaeologist of the psyche. As she delves into the recesses of the consumers mind Gitanjali unearths critical insights and patterns of behavior that explain not only their present but also their roots and culture.
Her love for excavation and discovery also makes her an avid street shopper, and intrepid traveler. When not at her desk, Gitanjali can be found in the quaint markets and forgotten lanes of an off-the-map location, hunting for the unusual piece with a story!!
Her life philosophy is to use her third eye to discover the mysteries, hidden beauty, and (last but not least) the little curiosity shops of the world!
Jasmeet Kaur Srivastava, Managing Director
Jasmeet Srivastava, founding partner and MD of The Third Eye, is an IIM Ahmedabad alumnus who graduated from the institute with a desire to create an organization with a difference. Thus was born The Third Eye, that not only embodies Jasmeet's incisive recognition of consumer truths, but also her eye for detail and strategic orientation. In addition The Third Eye's rare, much valued culture reflects Jasmeet's nature - her gentle nurturance and high empathy and her priorities, especially her commitment to foster personal growth for every individual. Jasmeet's skills extend beyond the efficient and successful management of Third Eye to include her culinary expertise. She is a researcher by day and gourmet chef by night! So don't be surprised if The Third Eye spin off is a cordon bleu restaurant with a difference!
Sumita Hattangadi, Senior Partner
A management graduate and a film maker by profession, Sumita decided to study human life from the other side of the camera and has been doing qualitative consumer research since 1998. Her diverse experience allows her to provide a width and depth of understanding of the consumer.
Among her many roles at Third Eye, Sumita also provides us with our laugh track.
Meera Raja, Senior Partner
Meera is a Director at The Third Eye and has been with the organisation since 2000
Meera Raja hails from a not so small town in God's own country, Kerala. The town called Kozhikode (or "hens coop" in a literal translation) could not keep Meera cooped up for too long. In her ealry twenties Meera Touched the shores of Mumbai, armed with a social sciences degree and a law degree.
Her backgournd in law gives Meera not only an acute sense of detail and a natural need to look for evidence but also ensures that she gets the 'big picture' to successfully close the 'case'.
Meera's growing up in small-town India also allows her to better appreciate the contrast and congruence between the many Indias that lie within us, and adds to her skill as a researcher.
Her mantra is commitment-lie the trapeze artist cycling on a rope 100 meters from the ground she is flexible, accommodation but nothing, ohing can get her off the rope!
Meera is passionate about who or what she loves... Her family, her friends, her colleagues, her work, her respondents, movies,24, friends, among other things.

Sidharth Chaturvedi, Partner
Sidharth has an MBA in marketing from IMI, New Delhi where his love for market research first began. He has spent the last 7 years unravelling the mysteries of consumers minds. As a dyed in the wool qualitative researcher, Sidharths interests lie in communication research, ethnography, semiotics and psychographic profiling.
When he is not busy exploring the depths of consumer thought, Sidharth loves to ponder over whether he loves reading murder mysteries more or mythology; loves Gulzar more or Salman Khan; loves eating more or cooking and finally, loves Bollywood more or television soaps and reality shows.
Jayadevan Ambat, Vice President
A story-teller at heart, Jayadev (going by the name JD) believes he has found his calling in the stimulating environs of Third Eye. Be it the rigor of collecting consumer yarn, the distilling of it in the famed Third Eye huddle, or the crafting of a fresh narrative with the shining core of a consumer insight - all gives the story teller in him a big high.
The value addition he brings to the table is his varied experience and skill sets, having done work of both qualitative and quantitative grain over the last 6 years, with a variety of FMCG, New Media, Technology and Finance clients
JD has done his Masters in Communication Management from MICA and his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering prior to that.
An avid reader, movie buff and music enthusiast in his spare time, he feels blessed at the blurring of boundaries of work and passion.
Lopamudra Roy, Vice President
Lopamudra comes with about a decade of experience in Nielsen in the field of innovation, specializing in simulated test marketing, success potential of new propositions, optimising marketing mix and consulting with clients across the entire length of innovation funnel right from the inception of ideas to launch execution. She has also spent a few years managing innovation at Unilever.
A daredevil, Lopamudra feels if it is true, it is worth going to any length for. Always fascinated by the concepts of weighing scale, the equator, plumb line and the Meridian, she believes one could lie anywhere on the scale, but true reconciliation comes from complete acceptance of both ends of the spectrum.
She follows a Guru and enjoys solitude and gratitude. Lopamudra also hosts a spiritual web magazine by the name of The Mother (www.themotherdivine.com) in the capacity of an Executive Editor.
Romila Karnik, Vice President
Born and raised in Bombay, Romila is a hardcore Mumbaikar. She loves living in the melting pot of different cultures and people, where everyday is a new adventure.
Like her beloved city, Romila is also vibrant and inclusive of many ideas, people and cultures.
After completing her MBA, Romila got into Qualitative research, attracted by the newness and the potential to explore the entire width of categories and products. What has kept her in the field is the excitement of doing something new everyday.
Romila loves to travel to off beat places and try out new foods.
Nidhi Jacob, Vice President
Nidhi did her B.Com from Mumbai University which she has followed up with a Post Graduate Diploma specializing in Marketing. She entered the field of qualitative research immediately after this and has been hooked.
Over the last 6 years, Nidhi's love for consumer behavior has only grown stronger; as she has unraveled the intricacies of their minds across categories ranging from financial services, personal care to food
Often, Nidhi can be found with her nose buried deep in a book which she can devour with as much gusto as the marble cake she bakes so well.

An MBA from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai, Revati has a sound understanding of the key marketing mix functions.
She has worked with boutique agencies (Quantum) & large MNCs (Nilesen & Ipsos) in the past and brings with her wide experience that spans across categories and research methodologies

Nupur Agarwal has always shown great interest in Market Research since her college days. By being a teachers pet, a first bencher and the one to ask maximum questions in the class, Nupur ensured that theoretically whatever MICA had to offer in research, she gulped it all.
Her foray into the practical application of research commenced with IMRB International where for three years she honed her skills in Quantitative Research. However, her desire and untameable curiosity has now pushed this young girl to learn the nuances of the Qualitative ecosphere. Nupur therefore adds to the Third eye team a comprehensive expertise and a strategic look at marketing problems

Natasha loves exploring the deep mysteries of life. She strongly believes that the truth shall set you free and spends most of her time hunting for this truth in the nooks and corners of places, books and people. If she was not in research, she would have definitely been sitting on a mountain top attaining nirvana (or so she likes to believe). Once you get past her intimidating exterior, Natasha is a funny, kindhearted, warm and sensitive person (or so she likes to believe). Order delights her, playing with dogs even more so! You can catch her anytime in office to discuss her views on the rise of the alpha woman. Her interests range from sushi to Tchaikovsky.
Shwetha Shukla, Research Manager
Shweta is a graduate in English Literature and holds Masters degrees of Mass Communication and Luxury Brand Management. A market research professional for 8 years, she has extensively worked across categories like lubricants, automobiles, FMCG, finance, etc. She also has thorough experience in rural and social research. She is skilled at analyzing consumer data and unearthing actionable consumer insights for brands. She shoulders responsibilities of end to end project management which includes Client servicing, research planning and design, moderation and analysis. On the personal front she loves to read books, travel, cook and explore new cuisines, socialize with her loved ones and spends time with her pet.

Aamir is a born and bred Mumbaikar. A football buff who also likes the look of vintage bikes. Loves travelling to the mountains and exploring new food joints, all on his bike. He started off with advertising then moved Qualitative research, four years ago and has remained there ever since. Likes reading about history and comics when he is not creating a mess in the kitchen on holidays

Ruchi is an Electronics and Communication engineer and has an MBA degree in Advertising from Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication, Pune. A Sherlock fan with curiosity for ‘elementary’ truths, she is intrigued by how market research allows us to unearth and understand deeper human psyche. After graduating from Parsons with a BBA in Design and Management. working in social media and fashion brands she realised she enjoyed understanding consumers the most. Staring her research career at Flamingo as a Digital Researcher, picking up the ability to connect the dots between brands and their consumers – both online and offline. Relating qualitative digital self-ethnographic content to cultural trends thereby getting to the core of who the consumers are and how to reach them via their digital footprint.
Living between big metropolises like New York and Mumbai over the last five years she has developed a keen sense of culture and fashion and the big city life - a sort of NY, Mumbai state of mind.
When she isnt working she spends quality time with her dog, playing dress up, surfing and running!

Srimoyee describes herself as a culture vulture and a keen observer of human nature. She got introduced to Market Research in her management days at Symbiosis University and decided to use her curiosity and observation skills to understand the relationships between brands and consumer behaviour.
A qualitative researcher for 5 years, she started her career in market research with Drshti and TNS before joining Third Eye in 2016. Her experience so far has allowed her to work on various brands across categories giving her a depth and width into the consumer mind and its evolution in today’s age.
Additionally, she loves to travel, interact with people of various backgrounds, talk about social issues, read, sing, and eat!

Triveni is an endlessly curious, widely imaginative but agreeably amusing being who lives on a healthy dose of sarcasm. She maybe a little eccentric, but is on the whole a logic driven spirit.
She has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Post graduate degree in Social Communication Media which is when she discovered her fascination for qualitative market research.
She loves eavesdropping on people’s conversations to get a peek into their lives and loves analyzing advertisements to know the how humanity is evolving. This makes a natural fit for the world of consumer research.
For this reason she likes being called a cultural historian more than a qualitative researcher because if you really think about it, what consumer research really is about is documenting changing human behavior in this ever changing media-sphere we live in.

Siddharth graduated with a double post graduate degree in finance, which landed him a job as an equity advisor. Within a short duration of time he realised that a structured and monotonous life is not meant for him.
In his quest to find a job that is challenging and new each day, he found his calling in Market Research.
With over 3 years of experience in Qualitative Market Research, his love for it has only grown. His interest in qualitative research is fuelled with new and different problems, categories and projects.
His extrovert nature and curiosity to learn with each passing day, coupled with his personal interaction and experiences with different kinds of people, cultures, attitudes and age groups, makes him a natural researcher.

Saloni’s inception into the world of consumer research began with an internship stint with IPSOS way back in her college days. She realized that simple interactions with people have the potential to open an unforeseen realm of consumer beliefs, anxieties and aspirations. Fascinated, her love affair with market research has only grown stronger since then. She craves for new experiences and travel lets her tap into that craving. She likes to explore new places, cuisines and cultures and hopes to tick off items from her bucket list soon.

Ashim joined The Third Eye as the Director of Finance in 2007. With a graduate degree in commerce and post-graduate Diploma in Management, Ashim ran his own firm for many years before he decided that numbers were his calling and moving to the world of finance and investment.
Ashim loves his work and the entire office junta. Although content to be a good dad and husband, he also enjoys going out with friends, listening to music and reading.
On the work front he wants to see The Third Eye at the top of the heap! In his personal life he hopes to remain the rockstar dad that his daughter used to think he was!
