Jasmeet Srivastava, founding partner and MD of The Third Eye, is an IIM Ahmedabad alumnus who graduated from the institute with a desire to create an organization with a difference. Thus was born The Third Eye, that not only embodies Jasmeetâ€™s incisive recognition of consumer truths, but also her eye for detail and strategic orientation. In addition The Third Eyeâ€™s rare, much valued culture reflects Jasmeetâ€™s nature - her gentle nurturance and high empathy â€“ and her priorities, especially her commitment to foster personal growth for every individual. Jasmeetâ€™s skills extend beyond the efficient and successful management of Third Eye to include her culinary expertise. She is a researcher by day and gourmet chef by night! So donâ€™t be surprised if The Third Eye spin off is a cordon bleu restaurant â€˜with a differenceâ€™!
Gitanjali Ghate, Managing Partner
Gitanjali Ghate is the founding partner and Managing Director of Third Eye. She has a master's degree in Psychology.
Her academic background and natural proclivity to dive deep into the human mind, make her role at The Third Eye akin to an archaeologist of the psyche. As she delves into the recesses of the consumer's mind Gitanjali unearths critical insights and patterns of behavior that explain not only their present but also their roots and culture.
Her love for excavation and discovery also makes her an avid street shopper, and intrepid traveler. When not at her desk, Gitanjali can be found in the quaint markets and forgotten lanes of an off-the-map location, hunting for the unusual piece with a story!!
Her life philosophy is to use her third eye to discover the mysteries, hidden beauty, and (last but not least) the little curiosity shops of the world!
Ashim Khurana, Director - Finance
Ashim joined The Third Eye as the Director of Finance in 2007. With a graduate degree in commerce and post-graduate Diploma in Management, Ashim ran his own firm for many years before he decided that numbers were his calling and moving to the world of finance and investment.
Ashim loves his work and the entire office junta. Although content to be a good dad and husband, he also enjoys going out with friends, listening to music and reading.
On the work front he wants to see The Third Eye at the top of the heap! In his personal life he hopes to remain the rockstar dad that his daughter used to think he was!
Sumita Hattangadi, Senior Partner
A management graduate and a film maker by profession, Sumita decided to study human life from the other side of the camera and has been doing qualitative consumer research since 1998. Her diverse experience allows her to provide a width and depth of understanding of the consumer.
Among her many roles at Third Eye, Sumita also provides us with our laugh track.
Meera Raja, Senior Partner
Meera is a Director at The Third Eye and has been with the organization since 2000.
She hails from a not-so-small town in God's own country, Kerala. However her town, Kozhikode (or 'hen's coop'), could not keep Meera cooped up for too long. In her early twenties Meera touched the shores of Mumbai, armed with degrees in the social sciences and law. Her background in law not only gives Meera an acute sense of detail and a natural need to look for evidence, but also ensures that she gets the 'big picture' to successfully close the 'case'.
Growing up in small-town India also allows Meera to better appreciate the contrasts and congruencies in the many Indiaâ€™s that lie within us. Meera is passionate about what she loves - her family, her friends her colleagues, her work, her respondents, movies, and TV shows such as 24 and Friends, among other things.
Her philosophy in life: do things right and right things will happen to you.
Satyam Viswanathan, Senior Partner
Satyam joined The Third Eye after many years of consumer marketing experience at Colgate-Palmolive in India and S.C. Johnson in North America. He has an MBA from Cornell University and a BA in Economics from Delhi University. Satyam is passionate about history, food, culture, and the arts and their influence on human behavior. He is also part of the core team at Junoon Theatre, an organization committed to injecting theatre and the arts into schools and communities across India.
Sidharth Chaturvedi, Partner
Sidharth has an MBA in marketing from IMI, New Delhi where his love for market research first began. He has spent the last 7 years unravelling the mysteries of consumersâ€™ minds. As a â€˜dyed in the woolâ€™ qualitative researcher, Sidharthâ€™s interests lie in communication research, ethnography, semiotics and psychographic profiling.
When he is not busy exploring the depths of consumer thought, Sidharth loves to ponder over whether he loves reading murder mysteries more or mythology; loves Gulzar more or Salman Khan; loves eating more or cooking and finally, loves Bollywood more or television soaps and reality shows.
Sushma Panchawati, Vice President
Sushma is an explorer at heart and loves to travel, interact with new people and soak in new cultures. This is one of the reasons why she is a qualitative researcher today. She has spent close to 5 years in this field and has enjoyed it immensely.
Films are another passion, and for her, films are a way of life. She loves travelling by train, enjoys riding cruiser bikes and has been trained as a Carnatic vocalist for close to 15 years.
Sushma has a varied background that has exposed her to the worlds of mechanical engineering, video editing, entrepreneurship, marketing and advertising, television programming and of course, qualitative research. She has an MBA from Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmadabad (MICA). Her Bachelor's degree was in Mechanical Engineering. She comes to work every day in search for the next adventure.
Lopamudra Roy, Vice President
Lopamudra comes with about a decade of experience in Nielsen in the field of innovation, specializing in simulated test marketing, success potential of new propositions, optimising marketing mix and consulting with clients across the entire length of innovation funnel right from the inception of ideas to launch execution. She has also spent a few years managing innovation at Unilever.
A daredevil, Lopamudra feels if it is true, it is worth going to any length for. Always fascinated by the concepts of weighing scale, the equator, plumb line and the Meridian, she believes one could lie anywhere on the scale, but true reconciliation comes from complete acceptance of both ends of the spectrum.
She follows a Guru and enjoys solitude and gratitude. Lopamudra also hosts a spiritual web magazine by the name of The Mother (www.themotherdivine.com) in the capacity of an Executive Editor.
Romila Karnik, Associate Vice President
Born and raised in Bombay, Romila is a hardcore Mumbaikar. She loves living in the melting pot of different cultures and people, where everyday is a new adventure.
Like her beloved city, Romila is also vibrant and inclusive of many ideas, people and cultures.
After completing her MBA, Romila got into Qualitative research, attracted by the newness and the potential to explore the entire width of categories and products. What has kept her in the field is the excitement of doing something new everyday.
Romila loves to travel to off beat places and try out new foods.
Nidhi Jacob, Associate Vice President
Nidhi did her B.Com from Mumbai University which she has followed up with a Post Graduate Diploma specializing in Marketing. She entered the field of qualitative research immediately after this and has been hooked.
Over the last 6 years, Nidhiâ€™s love for consumer behavior has only grown stronger; as she has unraveled the intricacies of their minds â€“ across categories ranging from financial services, personal care to food
Often, Nidhi can be found with her nose buried deep in a book â€“ which she can devour with as much gusto as the marble cake she bakes so well.
Jayadevan Ambat, Associate Vice President
A story-teller at heart, Jayadev (going by the name JD) believes he has found his calling in the stimulating environs of Third Eye. Be it the rigor of collecting consumer yarn, the distilling of it in the famed Third Eye huddle, or the crafting of a fresh narrative with the shining core of a consumer insight - all gives the story teller in him a big high.
The value addition he brings to the table is his varied experience and skill sets, having done work of both qualitative and quantitative grain over the last 6 years, with a variety of FMCG, New Media, Technology and Finance clients
JD has done his Masters in Communication Management from MICA and his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering prior to that.
An avid reader, movie buff and music enthusiast in his spare time, he feels blessed at the blurring of boundaries of â€˜workâ€™ and â€˜passionâ€™.
Revati Thakur, Associate Vice President
Revati started her career in Advertising & Branding roles before pursing a career in Market Research
An MBA from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai, Revati has a sound understanding of the key marketing mix functions.
She has worked with boutique agencies (Quantum) & large MNCs (Nilesen & Ipsos) in the past and brings with her wide experience that spans across categories and research methodologies
On the personal front, apart from being a mother, she is an avid food blogger, and spends her spare time developing & cooking up delectable foods
Kiran Budhiraja, Research Manager
Kiran Budhiraja operates straight from the heart. She came to Third Eye equipped with a social work degree and work experience in issues of womenâ€™s and childrenâ€™s rights.
Her high comes from not just from travel and meeting consumers in far flung â€˜venuesâ€™ in small towns of India, but from interacting with the real Indian in its many avatarâ€™s; and coming back and re-creating the story of the product through their lives.
Kiran has completed 5 Â½ years in Third Eye, surprising herself with her in-depth understanding of todayâ€™s consumer.
Kiran is passionate about many things, people, work, food, travelling, and pottery but most of all living life to the fullest.
Arindam Mohanty, Research Manager
Arindam holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from the Madras Christian College and a Masters in Media and Communication from the Symbiosis International University. He spent a year as a photojournalist and travel writer at the Asian Photography magazine before moving on to consumer research. His experience in diverse categories, ranging from automobiles and FMCG to finance and healthcare, has him raring to explore new ways and methods of tapping into consumer mindsets.
Arindam revels in having lived in 10 cities in 27 years, travels without an itinerary and with a camera, is an avid meat-eater and does not need an excuse to start singing his favourite Bruce Springsteen numbers to all and sundry.
Natasha Trivedi, Research Manager
Natasha loves exploring the deep mysteries of life. She strongly believes that the truth shall set you free and spends most of her time hunting for this truth in the nooks and corners of places, books and people. If she was not in research, she would have definitely been sitting on a mountain top attaining nirvana (or so she likes to believe). Once you get past her intimidating exterior, Natasha is a funny, kindhearted, warm and sensitive person (or so she likes to believe). Order delights her, playing with dogs even more so! You can catch her anytime in office to discuss her views on the rise of the alpha woman. Her interests range from sushi to Tchaikovsky.

Aman Anand, Associate Research Manager
Aman can walk into a room filled with a diverse collection of strangers, strike up conversations with all of them and walk out with as many friends as there were strangers before. This uncanny ability to connect makes him a natural moderator.
A gypsy at heart and a doer by instinct, Aman started working in his teens, gaining experience in sectors ranging from fashion retail to rural research, before completing his masters in marketing research and finding his home in Third Eye. Along the way he also gained a masters in Economics.
Aman finds his highs in the stories that he hears and in the process of utilising these stories to help grow businesses.
He carries within him a deep love for his city, Lucknow and this reflects in his â€˜adabâ€™. When not working, Aman can be found listening to music, talking about technology and purposefully meandering the internet to pocket reads on diverse themes.
Devika Johar, Associate Research Manager
Armed with a Bachelors of Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from NMIMS, Mumbai, Devika dove right into consumer research. After completing an internship at Third Eye where she fell in love with the place and people, she joined full time in 2013 â€“ which was the next natural step for her. It was her love for consumer psychology and brand-building right from the roots that first attracted her to the field â€“ and with her resourcefulness, passion, and efficiency (sometimes bordering on the scary) â€“ she is a perfect match for it! Her hobbies include parliamentary debating, reading books with happy endings, and occasionally knocking things over (but donâ€™t tell her we said that!).
Simone Bandrawala, Associate Research Manager
Simone may be our resident fashionista, but behind all the glittering outfits â€“ lies a mind that is sharp and intense. She has a keen interest in the business of brands which brought her to the world of market research. She discovered her ability in problem solving â€“ often surprising the people around her with her ingenuity. Being innately curious and social, the combination makes it easy for her to connect with people of all age groups and social backgrounds. At office she has developed the reputation to be the go â€“ to person to uncover and capture trends. When not discussing work and trends, Simone can be found baking, attending music events or making elaborate plans for a fashion weekend in Paris.

Alisha started off as an intern in the summer of 2012. Even though this internship lasted just a month, she thoroughly enjoyed her experience and was inspired to come back. She finds consumer research intriguing and loves the variety of projects that come our way. Being the newest member of our team, she has joined us shortly after completing her graduate degree in management studies from St. Xavierâ€™s college, Mumbai.
Alisha is a sports enthusiast, is passionate about travel and loves learning new languages.
With a keen mind and a love for creativity, she is a perfect fit for qualitative research!

Nupur Agarwal has always shown great interest in Market Research since her college days. By being a teacherâ€™s pet, a first bencher and the one to ask maximum questions in the class, Nupur ensured that theoretically whatever MICA had to offer in research, she gulped it all.
Her foray into the practical application of research commenced with IMRB International where for three years she honed her skills in Quantitative Research. However, her desire and untameable curiosity has now pushed this young girl to learn the nuances of the Qualitative ecosphere. Nupur therefore adds to the Third eye team a comprehensive expertise and a strategic look at marketing problems

Vishakha is a person who wears many hats and transforms from one personality to the next with ease. An efficient mom, a passionate cook, an innovative career woman, she has played each role to perfection. She brings to the table an innate common sense, an experience in myriad fields starting with a stint in jewellery and garment design, dabbling in spirituality and going on to become the founder member of a start-up that worked towards womenâ€™s empowerment and emotional well- being. Shreshtha has a Bachelorâ€™s Honours in Sociology from LSR and an MBA in Marketing from IMI, New Delhi. Unassuming and scrupulous, she is existentially curious about finding hidden connections between people, cultures and brands.
